DELL Inspiron 15

The focus is always on the portability of the laptops along ways with the performance of the machine. If you are thinking about bidding for a laptop required for non-official/home bound purposes which has a sleek design and is good in performance, then your search ends at DELL. Dell has introduced the Inspiron series and the latest is the Dell Inspiron 15, which is a sleek laptop with an unimaginable 15.6”/17.3" wide screens, indeed gives the best view for movies and internet browsing applications. This makes it to hold the best rating in the category of laptops suitable for personal operations.

Dell Inspiron 15” has a clean design with a high gloss finish with a 15.6” and 17.3”wide screen. What attracted me the best are:
· easy to hold structure of the lappy.
· soft keypad and smooth finish at the edges.
· light in weight property (weighs around 5 to 6 lbs) makes it easy to carry and travel.

Though i opted one with a black glossy finish, they offer you a wide range of colours to choose from, to shade a trendy appearance for your lappy. The colours available are :
· Alpine white
· Promise pink
· Cherry red
· Pacific blue
· Ice blue
· Jade green

The next thing that surprised me is the option of comprising the next generation discs – BLUE RAY disc, because i can hardly find laptops with BR disc in the market yet.

• Cam and mic: 1.3 MP camera + digital mic –both stand good in clarity.
• Applications: Inbuilt applications for video chat, PC to PC phone calls, video and audio recording helps you to save a huge amount that needs to be spend to install all these stuff.
  

Connectivity:

• 7 in 1 card reader: Very handy to copy music/snaps on the move.
• Wi-Fi + Blue tooth: Wi-Fi capability and the square area it can conquer by its signal needs an open comment “Good”.

Security:

• Facial recognition: A step above finger print recognition and it works good though its the first time they have introduced it.

Helpdesk:

• I tried connecting to the customer care to clear a couple of queries regarding the warranty details and the experience was good. You have smart and sweet persons on the Dell support centre to patiently help you out.
  
  If you are planning to order the Inspiron from the Dell, you have wide range of options to choose your processor, OS and related stuff. The best deal they have is a combination of Intel dual core @ 2.0 Ghz, WINDOWS VISTA, 3GB ram, 250 GB SATA for $549. The price varies as you opt for a wider screen and higher memory. But i would suggest the above combination as the best suitable for personal laptop.
